The Sand 5 H2O pants take on a slightly more speed-driven character compared to the outgoing Sand 4. As adventure bikes become more sportive and dynamic, the Sand 5 H2O pants reflect this industry shift. Through this new design, we were able to include drop-down ventilation panels on both front thighs and calf adjustable straps. Higher quality materials are also used to ensure the Sand 5 H2O pants carry you through whatever adventure you embark on.
The Over and Under Concept
We’ve taken our know-how of the proven over and under waterproof liner concept and applied it to our Sand 5 H2O pants. Wear the detachable liner over or under your protective, CE-certified layer according to your personalized preference for keeping the rain away—and keeping you dry. The waterproof liner, made of a resilient 3L hydratex material, has reinforcements at the seat and inside of the knees for long-term durability. Furthermore, to accommodate the over-under construction, the waistband of the main trousers—aka the protection layer—comes with a belt buckle and a stretch insert strategically positioned at the center front of the pant for improved comfort when sitting. The RWL (removable waterproof layer) is equipped with a snap with two-position adjustment. A detachable thermal liner is also included to up the ante on warmth and comfort on cold, rainy days.
This product contains recycled polyester:

• Inner liner of outer garment contains 30% recycled polyester
• Removable waterproof liner contains 27% recycled polyester
• Removable thermal liner contains 100% recycled polyester

A 3-layer construction. The membrane has a layer of protective tricot laminated on each side of the membrane. This results in a waterproof and breathable membrane that is also very durable. This type of membrane also offers maximum flexibility, as it can be removed from the garment: wear the membrane inside the garment when the weather demands it, or take it out when you need maximum ventilation.

Certified CE-level 2 according to the new norm EN 1621-1:2012 the SEEFLEX protector is the latest innovation from the in-house R&D department. The new norm also tests the impact levels in various temperature ranges. The SEEFLEX protectors easily surpass the new norm without sacrificing wearer comfort.
SEESMART CE-level 1 Hip Protectors - RV33
SEESMART hip protectors offer the highest level of flexibility while still passing the EN 1621-1:2012 CE-level 1 impact tests, in both normal and hot (T+) conditions.

Laminated reflection on upper legs
Reflection panels ensure excellent visibility at all angles, allowing the wearer to be seen from all directions. To offer a more sophisticated look, the reflection panels are welded to the fabric. This welding process also eliminates stitching seams, making the garments safer.
