To provide the best possible website experience and to deliver optimal services, we process certain personal data. In this Privacy Statement you will find a clear explanation of which personal data we process, for what purposes, and how we process personal data. REV’IT! eStore Europe B.V. is part of the same group as REV’IT! Sport International B.V. In this Privacy Statement, these companies are jointly referred to as REV’IT!. REV’IT! is the data controller responsible for the processing of personal data. In this Privacy Statement, we explain which personal data we collect and use, and for what purposes. We recommend that you read this Privacy Statement carefully.
REV’IT! considers a reliable and careful handling of personal data to be of great importance. Personal data is therefore processed by us with care. In doing so, we comply with the requirements of applicable privacy legislation. We handle the personal data of both our customers and visitors to our online platform with care. This means, among other things, that:

1. Personal Data
When using our website (www.revitsport.com), we obtain certain information about you. This may include personal data. We only store and use personal data that is provided directly by you in the context of the service you request, or where it is clear at the time of provision that the data is provided to us for processing.
1.1 Your Personal Data
When you visit our website, register on our website, contact one of our employees, apply for a vacancy, or make a purchase via the webshop, we record the personal data you provide in our database in order to manage it, contact you, and/or to deliver your order.
1.2 How We Use Your Data
· Processing and delivery of your order
To deliver your order, we use your name, address, payment details, and email address. We use this information to keep you informed about the status of your order. We also share necessary data with third parties, such as delivery services responsible for delivering your order. Payments are processed via a secure connection with our Payment Service Provider (PSP), Adyen. We do not have access to your payment details; we only receive confirmation from Adyen as to whether the payment was successful.

· Made to measure/Product configuration
If you purchase made-to-measure products, we process additional personal data required to produce and deliver your custom product. This may include contactinformation you provide in order to make an appointment, as well as other information you provide during the appointment for the configurator, such as measurements, sizing preferences, and fit information. For the production and fulfilment of made-to-measure products, we share the necessary data with the relevant group company responsible for producing these products. This group company may process your data under its own responsibility for the purposes of production, delivery, after-sales service, and warranty.
The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the agreement. The data you provide to us is shared with REV’IT! Tailortech S.r.l. for fulfilment of the order.
· Your REV’IT! account
In your personal account, we store your data, which allows you to manage your information (such as delivery addresses). Your account also contains an overview of your order history and allows you to adjust personal preferences, such as interests, membership program enrollment, and newsletter subscriptions. Your account data may be processed in systems operated by service providers that support our webshop and marketing communications. Where applicable, data may be synchronized between these systems to ensure that your account information and preferences remain up to date.
The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the agreement and, for certain communications, your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time via your REV’IT! account.
· The membership program
If you have enrolled in our membership program, we store additional data such as accumulated points, data required for the rider protection program (including purchase history, contact information, and address details), and benefits linked to your account. These benefits may be communicated via phone or email, depending on your preferences. You can unsubscribe or adjust your preferences at any time via your REV’IT! account.
The legal basis for this processing is the performance of the agreement and, for certain communications, your consent. You may withdraw your consent at any time via your REV’IT! account.
· Customer Service
To assist you as effectively as possible when you contact our Customer Service, we use your data (primarily phone number and email address) to help answer your questions. Emails sent to Customer Service are linked to your data so that we have all relevant information available to assist you.
The legal basis for this processing is our legitimate interest to provide you with optimal customer support.
· Call Recordings (Customer Service)
When you contact our Customer Service by telephone, we may record the conversation for quality monitoring, training, fraud prevention, and dispute resolution purposes. You will be informed prior to the start of the recording. If you do not wish your call to be recorded, you may inform us and we will not record your call. Call recordings are retained for a maximum of 90 days unless longer retention is necessary in connection with a complaint, dispute, fraud investigation, or legal obligation. In such cases, recordings may be retained for the duration of the relevant procedure. Access to call recordings is restricted to authorized personnel only.

· REV’IT! newsletters
You may subscribe to REV’IT! newsletters. We may also send you personalized emails based on your purchases in our eStore. We use your email address and, where applicable, your interests to send newsletters. You can unsubscribe at any time via the “unsubscribe” link in the email.
The legal basis for this processing is your consent to promote our products and services. You may unsubscribe at any time.
· Product reviews on revitsport.com
You may leave a review or opinion about a product on our website. Only your name, the size of the product you purchased and whether it was purchased on www.revitsport.com will be displayed with the review.

· Fraud prevention
We may use customer data to investigate, prevent, and combat fraud where necessary.

We protect the personal data we process with appropriate technical and organizational measures to safeguard your personal data against loss, unauthorized access, and any other form of unlawful processing.
1.4 Third Parties Processing Your Data
We engage third parties to provide us with servicess, order fulfillment and other activities. Where these parties process personal data on behalf of REV’IT!, they act as processors. Agreements covering security, confidentiality, and your rights are in included in the data processing agreements we have in place with these third parties. We do not sell your personal data to third parties in exchange for monetary payment. We may share personal data with service providers and partners for the purposes described in this Privacy Statement, in accordance with applicable data protection laws.
We work with third parties providing the following services:
- E-commerce services for hosting our webshop, such as Shopify;
- For made-to-measure products, we share the necessary data with our group company in Italy responsible for producing the made-to-measure items.
- Logistics and operational services such as postal services, delivery partners, and email service providers;
- Marketing services for personalization of our webshop and for showing relevant offers and advertisements on our website, in our app and on websites and apps of third parties. We use software such as Google Ads, Microsoft Clarity, Shoplift, TikTok, Google 360 Suite, Klaviyo, Meta, Shopify, and Google DoubleClick;
- Analytics services for analysing information about your visit and use of our webshop. Thereto we use software such as Google Analytics, Microsoft Clarity, Shopify, PowerBI, and Google Cloud;
- IT services for system maintenance and data storage of our systems and storage of your information;
- Customer satisfaction research;
- Handling of questions, complaints, repairs, and warranties together with external parties and sometimes suppliers. Information about questions, complaints, repairs and warranties will be processed by these third parties;
- Repair services;
- Cooperation with supervisory, tax, and law enforcement authorities, such as the police and prosecutors. We only do so where legally required;
- Social media buttons integrated into online platform, which may collect personal data.
1.5 Use of Personal Data Online

· Cookies
Our online platform uses necessary, functional, analytical, performance, and marketing cookies. Cookies are also placed by third parties engaged by us. When you visit our online platform for the first time, you are asked whether you consent to the placement of cookies. You may accept all cookies, reject them, or customize your preferences. · Google Analytics
We use Google Analytics to analyze website usage by our visitors. A data processing agreement has been concluded with Google in order to make arrangements on how this data may be used. We have permitted google to use the analytics for other Google services, finally the IP addresses are anonymized.
· Website optimization
In the context of website optimization, order processing, visitor statistics, and historical sales analyses for customer relationship management purposes, we retain your personal data for as long as necessary. We store your data on a local server in a secure environment to which only authorized employees have access. The data is subsequently deleted, unless there is a legal obligation requiring longer retention (such as the statutory tax retention period of seven years for payment data).
· Profiling
We may use profiling techniques to tailor marketing communications, website content, and offers to your interests, based on information such as your purchase history, browsing behavior, and interactions with our communications. This means that we may use automated tools to analyze certain aspects of your preferences in order to send you more relevant information. This profiling does not produce legal effects or similarly significant consequences for you. You may object to profiling for marketing purposes at any time by adjusting your account settings, unsubscribing from communications, or contacting us.
1.6 Retention of Personal Data
· Recruitment
Personal data collected for recruitment purposes is retained as long as necessary to complete the recruitment process.
· Retention periods
- If you have not logged in and/or placed an order for five years, your data will be deleted. You may request deletion at any time by sending an email to our customer service at -mail aan privacy@revitsport.com or by calling us at +31 412 696710. Any deletion request will be processed by us ultimately within 30 days.
- Inactive customer accounts are deleted after five years. After that period, we only use your data in anonymized form for internal reporting purposes.
- We are required by the tax authorities to retain our administration containing your invoice, payment, and order data for seven years. After that, we only use anonymized data for internal reporting purposes. You should also retain your purchase invoices yourself, for example in case your warranty expires.
- If you have your product repaired or replaced by REV'IT!, we retain your report and contact details for five years. After that, we only use your data in anonymized form for internal reporting purposes.
- Data used to prevent fraud is retained until an investigation has been completed. Depending on the outcome of the investigation, your account may subsequently be blocked, as well as delivery to you, via your email address or postal address.
1.7 Transfers Outside the EEA
For the performance of our services, we make use of parties that process personal data outside the European Economic Area, such as the United States. When personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we ensure appropriate safeguards, such as the use of Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission or participation in the EU–US Data Privacy Framework.

This privacy statement does not apply to third-party websites that are connected to our webshop by means of links. We cannot guarantee that these third parties handle your personal data in a reliable or secure manner. We recommend that you read the privacy statements of these websites before using them.

· Right to be forgotten / request for account deletion
You have the right to request that we delete all data we have about you.
