Service/Repair
When the airbag deploys, the internal high-pressure Gas Inflator must always be replaced before the airbag can be used again.
How to replace the Gas Inflator(s) yourself?
Start with the Airbag Integrity Test*: Follow the instructions provided in the manual included with the Gas Inflator Replacement Kit.
*To perform the Integrity Test an Adapter Valve is mandatory.
If the airbag passes the integrity test, you can replace the canister. This is sufficient to prepare the system for reuse.
Important! The system only allows autonomous Gas Inflator replacement in countries authorized for handling and replacement.

Gas Inflator replacement service

Gas Inflator replacement can also be done by REV’IT! , including recharging the system’s inflation charges and integrity testing the airbag bladder.
If the airbag fails the Airbag Integrity Test, do not continue using the system.
A failed test means the airbag is damaged and will not provide protection in an accident!
It must be replaced by REV’IT!
Full recharge service

In case of a failed Airbag Integrity Test or in case the Systems’ Electronic Control Unit has reached the maximum number of inflations guaranteed for the Airbag in use, the airbag needs a full recharge service.
The System will remain blocked until a full service is performed by the Avertum Service Center in Oss, the Netherlands or Denver, USA.
Continuing to use the System in this condition, without performing any servicing operation, is at the user’s own risk and responsibility
Full recharge service consists of an inspection, replacing both inflation charges, replacing the airbag bladder, and washing and cleaning treatment.
Maintenance

Regular maintenance of the Avertum Tech-Air® airbag is recommended every two years or 500 hours of operation. Routine maintenance includes a comprehensive inspection to assess proper functionality and wear. Additionally, the Avertum Tech-Air® will undergo a thorough washing and cleaning process. Upon completing the inspection, the operation hours will be reset.
