Details
Created with You
Custom isn’t a feature. It’s the foundation.
Every REV’IT! TAILORTECH suit starts from a proven racing template, built to be personalized without compromising performance. Colors, name, race number, logos, and artwork are integrated directly into the construction, aligned with seams, stretch zones, and panel flow.
Each suit is then made to measure around your body and riding posture, ensuring protection and stretch are positioned exactly where they belong.
The result is a racing suit that fits, moves, and represents you – nothing generic, nothing accidental.
Color chart
Racing-derived leather tones
The REV’IT! TAILORTECH color chart is a curated racing palette, developed specifically for leather.
A total of 19 colors is available for the X_301, with each color and hue tuned in Italy to retain depth, clarity, and consistency on track.
These colors are chosen for how they read at speed and under lighting – not for trends.
Badges & Artworks
Identity, with intent
Badges – such as your name, number, bike brand, or sponsors – are placed with controlled sizing and spacing so they remain clean and legible in motion. A generous badge allowance is included as standard.
For riders who want more expression, dedicated artwork zones on sleeves and legs allow custom graphics to be integrated into the suit’s layout. All artwork follows the suit’s construction lines to preserve movement and balance.
Minimal or expressive, everything is designed to belong.

Traditional Measuring
Traditional measurements by specialized technicians at the heart
- 10 circumferences
- 9 lengths
- 42 mapped body points
With this data we can reconstruct your proportions on screen and engineer a cut that fits no one else but you.
3D Scanning Data
Skilled artisans, powered by high technology
If a tailor can collect 21 body measurements and map 42 points, imagine what the power of AI can add – generating a full 3D body avatar with up to 235 measurements.
Those avatars – and the enhanced measurements – let us cross-check the manual data and even mimic your riding posture on a motorcycle. That means we can shape each specific section of the suit for the movements that matter most: braking, tip-in, apex, and pick-up.
Compatible with
High-Resistance Leather Performance
Designed to take on the demands of speed
Every element of REV’IT! TAILORTECH suits is designed to take on the demands of speed, so you can focus on what really matters: your performance.
Not Just Any Leather
No standard steps. No universal formulas.
The leather used doesn’t arrive as a semi-finished product. It doesn’t come pre-tanned elsewhere, ready to be adapted. It arrives raw. And it’s processed entirely in Italy.
All suits are crafted from made-for-purpose leathers and technical fabrics. Like our premium quality kangaroo leather, providing equal performance levels as bovine leather with thinner hide. Less weight, more flex. Or our cowhide leather, developed specifically for competition – matching look, feel, abrasion resistance, and flexibility of kangaroo.
Both are tanned in the Arzignano district, one of the world’s centers of excellence for high-performance leather processing. No standard steps. No universal formulas. Every treatment is engineered for motorcycling. At speed.
Testing to the Limit
Lightness and strength, durability, and flexibility
All materials are tested to the very limit at our in-house laboratory at the REV’IT! HQ in Oss in the Netherlands. Of course, REV’IT! TAILORTECH in Italy has a direct line with our colleagues in Research & Innovation and the lab.
One of the tests conducted consisted of repeated impacts on exactly the same point. After six impacts, the leather was still intact. At that stage, we chose to stop...
All resulting in suits that combine lightness and strength with durability and flexibility. Suits that don’t give in – not even when you ask for more.
Total Airflow
In control of body heat
Performance generates heat and controlling it is essential. REV’IT! TAILORTECH designs are made to manage body temperature through precisely engineered perforation and ventilation, positioned where airflow is most effective without compromising structural integrity.
By moving air to the areas that build up the most heat, the suit helps you preserve energy and maintain focus.
The Science behind Airflow
Precise and purposeful perforation
On the chest and thighs, including the inner leg, we use full perforation. Positioned and punched with precision and with purpose.
On the X_301 we use high-quality kangaroo leather throughout to preserve strength even after perforation. Every hole breaks the fiber and tensile strength can drop by up to 30%, however, kangaroo – by nature structurally very compact and with a tanning process developed in Arzignano – maintains its hold even with extensive perforation.
On the sleeves (biceps and forearms) and the lower legs of the X_301, we apply a lighter micro-perforation. Here, the reduction in strength is minimal, and the leather maintains performance.
And when every degree less counts, every sip of water can make a difference. That’s where the integrated hydration pack option comes in.
Why Fewer Seams Matter
Less material. Fewer weak points. More strength.
A seam isn’t just a visual line – it requires overlapping material and needle perforations, which add weight, bulk, and stiffness while introducing potential weak points. With a typical 10 mm seam allowance on each side, every meter of seam adds 15–20 grams of extra leather. Reducing seam length therefore removes unnecessary material at the source and improves strength exactly where it matters most.
On the X_301, the concept is pushed to its limit: just 20 leather sections, with every seam placed using decades of real-world crash data.
Stretch. By Design.
Placed with intent
Stretch is not positioned at random – it’s placed with intent. Stretch sections serve more than one purpose. It gives the airbag the space and direction it needs to inflate cleanly, and it supports the extreme postures of modern riding.
On X_301, as much as 26% of the outer surface is stretch. However, more stretch doesn’t automatically mean more freedom or better airbag accommodation – that’s what orientation and placement do. We map stretch to the rider’s movement axes, so the suit stays easy in the key phases – tucked in, tip-in, pick-up – without ballooning when the airbag deploys.
Seams That Carry Load
Strength where the suit works hardest
Every seam on an X_301 uses Italian size-40 nylon thread at around stitches per cm (≈7.6 SPI), routed along load paths so strength culminates where the suit works hardest.
According to EN 17092-1 (the basis for FIM homologation), seam performance targets are ≥12 N per millimeter in Zone A and ≥8 N per millimeter in Zones B and C. Put simply: a single millimeter of stitching must hold about the weight of a MotoGP front brake caliper. A full centimeter? Ten of them – on the same thread.
Made in Italy
It’s more than a label – it’s a legacy
“Made in Italy” is often a marketing line. For REV’IT! TAILORTECH, it’s a foundation. Our roots go back to Vircos, founded in 1982 in Marostica, Italy — a racing-born workshop renowned for its skilled artisans and protective leather craftsmanship.
By combining Italian tailoring expertise with REV’IT!’s engineering and innovation, TAILORTECH amplifies that legacy: precision, knowledge passed hand-to-hand, and continuous development inspired by racing.
Here, “Made in Italy” means accountability, control, and a standard we stand behind — stitch after stitch.
