Outsmart the Winter Cold
with Clever All-Weather Gear
Ride on or Park up? You Decide.
Adventure doesn’t stop when temperatures drop. A lot of riders decide to park up when Winter sets in, but we believe that should always be a choice, never a necessity.
Should you choose to brave the cold, you best be prepared. And that’s exactly what we engineer our winter-weather gear towards. Riding on or parking up for Winter: the choice is entirely up to you.
Let’s dive into what it takes to combat the cold. In comfort and safety.

Base Layers
Technical underwear or base layers are the foundation of any outfit. Adding additional made-for-purpose engineering and design to that prime layer provides comfort no basic T-shirt or shorts will offer.
Foundation of Any Outfit
Though most base layers will provide moisture-wicking properties, we’ve tailored a range of technical undershirts and underpants to your exact needs. Insulating layers will allow you to retain heat by shielding you from heat-robbing cold air. Meanwhile the fabrics’ ability to absorb perspiration – letting evaporate away from the skin – prevents your body’s built in cooling function from leaking valuable body heat.
From our basic base layer shirt and pants combos – go-to, every-day technical underwear – to our top of the range merino wool base layer set – perfect for multi-day rides thanks to its naturally antimicrobial properties – there’s advantage to be gained in cold-combatting comfort.
02.
Mid Layers
Add serious insulation: add a mid layer. Thanks to down or synthetic fiber filling, mid layer jackets and pants are lightweight and packable heat retention layers that will make any outfit more comfortable in the cold.
Packable Heat Retention
The majority of our jackets and pants come as standard with thermal liners – most of them detachable for when temperatures exceed their need. For those with and certainly those without – for instance our laminated waterproof shell outfits – our broad selection of mid layer jackets and pants offer an upgrade worth considering.
The offering varies from lightly packed and affordable layers to padded styles and premium and high-tech mid layers. With our basic synthetic insulation jackets and pants for budget conscious riders, you’re all set to keep things a little warmer on crisp morning rides. Mid-level mid layers incorporate quality high-loft padding – with for instance PrimaLoft® to really get insulated. And for really demanding riders, there’s the option of switching to even more compact insulation, quicker drying times, and military-grade tech like Polartec® Alpha™ insulation.
Each step up provides even better heat retention in a more compact, purposeful package. Speaking of compact packages, all our mid layers are packable by design and come with a practical carrier bag to stow them away until temperatures call for them.

Under Gloves
Making the good that bit better; that’s what our undergloves were made for. Incredibly thin, they’ll fit under your favorite riding gloves and thanks to the technical fabric they provide insulation beyond their nearly unnoticeable thickness.
Don’t sacrifice comfort or feel
To block wind and retain warmth – all without sacrificing the comfort and feel of your favorite pair of gloves.
04.
Heated Gloves
Winter riding gloves are the go-to for when temperatures really drop, but other than counting on the additional insulating prowess of undergloves, the only truly winter-ready hand protection is to turn up the heat with THERMOTRONIC Heating Technology-equipped heated gloves. Because once you’re past the point of insulation and warmth retention, it’s time to add intelligent electronic heating tech – with four-level adjustable heating settings.
Turn up the heat
Combined with our proprietary hydratex waterproof membrane and lofty insulation, our selection of heated gloves is made to ride on with sustained of comfort and highlighted feel. Because once your hands go freezing, you’ll soon feel cold all over.

Tubes, Collars, And Balaclavas
From head to toe, the most exposed part of the human body covered in gear will always remain the neck. Seal the gap with technical tubes, collars, and balaclavas. To block out the wind and keep warmth in. The neck is home to large warmth-transporting blood vessels. Meaning that heat is easily transferred to the cold draft of the headwinds rushing past.
Defend against Wind Chill
Whether you decide on thin and flexible tube, a sturdy wind collar, or go all the way and wrap yourself with a balaclava, know that you’re closing the divide in your gear’s defenses against wind chill.
06.
Socks
It is common sense to slip your feet into warmer socks when cold weather sets in and that goes doubly for when you get on the bike. Your feet might be kept busy shifting and controlling the rear brake but on longer rides, that’s not enough to keep them warm. Or at least not with a little help.
Keep Blood Flowing and Retain Heat
With a range of cuts and lengths, our technical socks are designed to assure they wick perspiration away, keep the blood flowing, and to provide an insulating layer to retain body heat in an area of the body that’s highly exposed.
