On the Road to Change
Taking care of our planet starts with owning up to our impact. As a brand in a mostly fossil fuel-driven industry, we know change is needed and that any choice we make today shape the future we ride into. This page highlights the steps we take to reduce emissions, eliminate harmful substances, and manage waste across our operations and supply chain.
Reduce GHG Emissions
Cut REV'IT!'s emissions by 55% in 2030 and reach Net Zero Emissions by 2050, aligning with the Paris Agreement.
Reduce Hazardous Chemicals
Reduce the use of hazardous chemicals in REV'IT!'s supply chain towards zero.
Reduce Waste
Monitor and reduce REV'IT!'s waste.
How we get there
Greenhouse Gas Reduction
Reducing emissions is one of the most urgent – and simultaneously meaningful – challenges we face. That is why we are building a clear roadmap to measure, monitor, and lower our carbon footprint throughout our entire business.
We have started by creating a baseline for our Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions along with setting annual reduction targets in line with international climate goals – steps that will allow us to shift from intention to impact.
Chemical Impact Reduction
Eliminating hazardous substances from our supply chain is critical to protect both people and the environment. In achieving that, we’re actively identifying potential risks and holding our suppliers to strict chemical compliance standards.
Our goal is to fully implement safer chemical practices throughout all our tiers. This requires close collaboration and clear expectations across the entirety of the supply chain.
Responsible Supply Chain Practices
Creating lasting change, demands looking beyond the scope of our own operations. That is why we are expanding chemical compliance and sustainability expectations across our supply chain.
This includes assessing and reassessing supplier adherence to the REACH Restricted Substances List (RSL) and Manufacturing Restricted Substances List (MRSL). By working closely with our partners, we share responsibilities as well as the long-term impact.
Waste Management and Reduction
What we leave behind matters and that’s why we are taking responsibility for the waste we generate. From our production processes to our packaging and even our office.
We are actively mapping waste streams, measuring output, and setting reduction targets.
By rethinking how we use materials and cutting out the unnecessary, we are creating more efficient systems with less impact.
Product
Smart design starts with responsibility in mind. That is why we are creating gear with a lighter impact by focusing on smarter material choices, circular design solutions, and products built to last.
