The Defender 4 GTX jacket is a do-it-all, go-anywhere premium adventure travel jacket. Built to let you power through any and all conditions thanks to a high-end, three-layer construction – with a detachable thermal liner that doubles as a destination jacket and fully waterproof over-and-under GORE-TEX® liner – this jacket prepares you to defend against any weather. Whether it’s hot or cold, raining or shining, you’ve got an answer in the Defender 4 GTX.

All-New Technical Design
Redesigned from the ground up, the Defender 4 GTX boasts an all-new technical jacket design. Constructed almost entirely from super comfortable and strong bonded rib stretch material – with CORDURA® ripstop fabric and protective screen print where extra durability is needed – the main jacket moves with you on the bike, with ample fit adjustment options exactly where you need them. The adjustment straps at the waist and forearms, as well as the tabs at the cuffs and drawcords at the hem, also allow you to snug the jacket up or loosen it up when you switch between layers. With both the quality PrimaLoft® Silver thermal liner – with incorporated stretch elements – and GORE-TEX® liner in the jacket or just the thermals with the waterproof liner jacket over the top, you’ll never lack all-day wearing comfort.

Step-up in Ventilation and Storage
In terms of ventilation and storage options, the new Defender 4 GTX jacket is a serious step-up. From the massive double drop-down chest ventilation panels and an XL panel across the back, to sleeve mounted ventilation zippers, there’s no limit to long days riding in warm weather. If you’re riding past sundown, it’s nice to know you’ve got carefully placed laminated reflection to keep you visible from all angles. When it comes to safety, there’s confidence in knowing you’ve got CE-level 2 SEEFLEX armor at the elbows and the shoulders as standard, and the option to upgrade impact protection prowess by adding our SEESOFT chest (CE-level 1) and back (CE-level 2) protectors.

The REV’IT! flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar circumference easily and personalize its fit to each rider. A jacket is often worn in more then one season, and the flexisnap makes it possible to adjust the collar within seconds. During winter a wider collar circumference accommodates combining the jacket with a balaclava or wind collar, while during summer, a wider circumference lets an all-important cooling wind into the collar.

Short connection zipper in detachable waterproof liner

Adding to the versatility of the waterproof detachable liner, it comes with a short connection zipper, allowing you to securely fasten it to your riding trousers (or jeans via the Safeway 2 belts), when possible.

The zipper at the cuff allows for easier entry into the sleeve and lets you wear the glove cuff under your outer shell and over your base layer.
