Description

The best way to describe the Parallax is a sportive, vintage, hybrid-style jacket. Taking a retro-inspired leather and making sure you can ride into the future with it. Complete with a CE AA classification.

Visual performance
Much of what drives the Parallax jacket is how it looks. It’s about visual performance. We use a highly abrasion-resistant cow leather – along with artificial nubuk - for its outer shell construction; giving it that distressed look from the get-go. Yet, over time, will become more worn-in and mold to the contours of your body.

Street performance
A good-looking jacket would be nothing in our lineup without the street cred to back it up. Included is interior armor at the shoulders and elbows, along with TPU external hard parts at the shoulders. Making the Parallax jacket more than just a one-season use jacket is the inclusion of the detachable body warmer and the wind catcher behind the front zipper.

Under this garment you can wear our REV'IT! Avertum Tech-Air® Airbag - or a Tech5 airbag - if you purchase the garment one size bigger than your usual size. If you wish to wear a garment that is marked as ""Ready for Avertum Tech-Air® airbag system"", you must be sure that the garment can accommodate the expansion of the airbag and therefore we recommend following below fit equation: 1. Measure chest circumference and divide the measurement by two; 2. Measure garment flat on chest line; 3. If the difference between point 1 and point 2 is 12 centimeters or bigger the garment is suitable to wear on top of the airbag. Note: Please keep in mind that the garment should be purchased in the correct size in order for the shoulder and elbow protection to fit properly and best protect you in case of a crash. In order to create space for the expansion of the airbag, you can remove all separate layers (thermal liners, water proof liners) that can restrict the expansion of the airbag in the event of a crash. Remove the separate back protector in your garment, if any, when wearing the airbag (a back protector is included in the airbag) and adjust all adjustment straps on body to the widest position.

The stitching in motorcycle garments contributes greatly to the abrasion resistance of the total gear. This is why REV'IT! uses safety seams on garment areas at increased risk of impact. Safety seams have a visible as well as an invisible seam. This construction keeps the material of the outer shell together, even when the visible seam is thorn.

The Tight fit is designed to be snug and conform to the rider's body shape. The contouring design ensures that the material and fabrics move with the body, without restricting the range of motion in any situation. This fit is mostly found in base layers and in our race-oriented garments.
