What does this mean in practice?

Your work will focus on the Planet pillar of our Sustainability Strategy, ensuring sustainable decision-making for product development becomes an integral part of our operations. You’ll also contribute to other projects within our Planet and Product pillars, such as product circularity initiatives, supporting our product development teams in making informed, responsible choices.

You will:

• Conduct Life Cycle Assessments (LCA) for key products by gathering data from manufacturers, product developers, supply chain experts, and finance teams.
• Support broader sustainability projects by analyzing environmental impact data and recommending improvements.
• Collaborate across departments to ensure sustainability is embedded into our innovation processes.

This is an internship position, reporting to the Sustainability Coordinator.

We’re looking for an ambitious student eager to contribute to meaningful sustainability initiatives in a dynamic, innovation-driven company.

We expect:

• You are currently enrolled in a relevant University or University of Applied Sciences program (e.g., Environmental Science, Resource Management, Climate Studies).
• You have a strong interest in sustainability and are eager to drive change.
• You have experience making product LCA’s.
• You possess critical and analytical thinking skills, allowing you to assess challenges and find solutions.
• You are proactive and can work independently within a structured framework.
• You have strong communication skills and can collaborate effectively across teams.
• You are fluent in English (Dutch is a plus).
• You live in the Netherlands
• You are available 40 hours per week, of which preferably at least 32 hours on-site.
