Event Management Intern

Field: Staff – Location: Oss, The Netherlands – Contract type: Internship

At REV’IT!, we have a deep-rooted drive. We want motorcyclists to enjoy their passion to the fullest. To achieve that goal, we try to learn something new every day. From each other, from our customers, from our data, and maybe also from you.

Imagine working behind the scenes of a major motorcycle event. The display is built, the products are ready, and riders are beginning to gather. What visitors experience in a few hours often requires months of careful preparation. That preparation starts long before the event doors open. As our Event Management Intern, you will help make sure every detail is in place and every deadline is met.

What can you expect from us?

In 2026, REV'IT! participated in approximately 30 events across Europe and beyond. Some are consumer-focused motorcycle events or festivals. Others bring together dealers, distributors, media, and industry partners. Each with their own requirements, timelines, stakeholders, and logistical challenges.

This internship offers a unique opportunity to experience event management firsthand and from the inside. You will be working closely with Bruce, our Event Manager, who spends a significant part of the year travelling between events. While he is often on the road, there is a huge amount of preparation, coordination, communication, and follow-up required behind the scenes.

That is where you come in.

We are looking for someone who enjoys creating structure, bringing people together, and keeping projects moving forward. Someone who naturally takes ownership, proactively follows up with colleagues and suppliers, and understands how to separate priorities from distractions.
Along the way, you will gain practical experience in event planning, stakeholder management, logistics, communication, and project coordination. You will also have the opportunity to attend selected events in the Netherlands and throughout Europe yourself to experience the results of your work firsthand. So, we’re counting on you not to be afraid to roll up your sleeves and to work outside office hours, in the evening and at weekends.

What does this mean in practice?

As Event Management Intern, you play an important role in the team that’s responsible for delivering successful events throughout the year. You will support the preparation, coordination, and execution of a wide variety of projects, while learning how a global brand approaches event management.
Your job will include:

  • Coordinating preparations for approximately 20-30 events throughout the year.
  • Monitoring deadlines and ensuring deliverables are completed on time.
  • Communicating with internal teams, suppliers, venues, and partners.
  • Collecting and organizing event information, requirements, and documentation.
  • Supporting logistical planning for products, materials, and equipment.
  • Following up proactively to ensure agreements and actions are completed.
  • Helping coordinate on-site activities for selected events.
  • Maintaining clear project overviews and planning documents.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve event processes and organization.
  • Creating a comprehensive internship handbook for future Event Management interns.

One additional aspect makes this internship unique: The event season does not end when the standard internship period does. Therefore, there are opportunities available to continue supporting the team during the summer period through a flexible zero-hours contract.

This is an internship position. You will be reporting to the Event Manager.

Are you our ideal candidate?

Event management is ultimately about people, planning, and ownership. We are not necessarily looking for someone with extensive experience. We are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility and making things happen.

We expect that you:

  • Are currently following a relevant bachelor or master program in Events Management, or a related field.
  • Are well organized and able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Are comfortable communicating with different stakeholders.
  • Proactively pick up the phone when coordination is needed.
  • Work independently and take ownership of your responsibilities.
  • Can prioritize tasks based on relevance and importance.
  • Have an eye for detail without losing sight of the bigger picture.
  • Have strong communication skills in English.
  • Are able and permitted to travel within the EU and UK and possess a valid passport.
  • Have a valid EU driving license (category B), preferably also a category BE trailer license and experience in driving a van. A motorcycle license is beneficial but not required.

Above all, you enjoy creating order in complex situations and get energy from helping projects run smoothly.
